Following ‘An Introduction to the Advance to Zero Homelessness Methodology’ (presented by the Australian Alliance to End Homelessness), The Zero Project – Housing First Coordination for WA are excited to be offering a face-to-face training session; ‘An Introduction to Housing First 101’.
This training aims to introduce Organisations to the Housing First model, ethos and principles developed for Australia.
Those attending the training will –
Learn about the history and evidence of Housing First.
Get to know the principles and what they mean in practice.
Develop an understanding of the approach and fidelity of the model.
Be encouraged to reflect on their own practice and how it fits with the Housing First principles and ethos.
The Zero Project will provide a range of resources and useful activities to assist (or continue to improve) your journey to ‘Housing First’.
Intended audience –
Anyone from frontline workers to executive level, developing skills and knowledge which can be embedded throughout your organisation / community.
