Anglicare WA are looking for people to participate in workshops as paid lived experience members.
What’s it all about?
The Department of Communities is funding a new online homelessness services platform which provides people experiencing homelessness a better way to view and enquire about accommodation vacancies across WA.
In order to develop something that works Anglicare WA need people with experience of seeking accommodation to work with the project team to design it.
There are different opportunities to contribute to the development of the platform over the course of the year 2022. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and in order to keep everyone safe these will be held online or in small groups or one to one.
What do I get out of it?
• You will be paid for your time and out of pocket travel expenses resulting from attending workshops or project activities.
• You will be supported to contribute ideas and share your experiences to enable the design and development of an online platform that meets the needs of other people experiencing homelessness.
• You will receive a written recognition of participation and any skills developed.
Interested?
Send an e-mail to nina.ulyett@anglicarewa.org.au and they will call you to talk about the project. Or speak to an Anglicare WA staff member to help you get in touch and complete this expression of interest form.
