The winners from an online student competition on Infill Housing have been announced.
In April 2020 Slavin Architects in association with the Western Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (WAAEH) launched a competition which saw students form teams of two to be resourceful and use their creativity to design a space to address our growing homelessness issues.

Submissions were made digitially and a jury comprised of Dr Brad Pettitt, City of Fremantle; Bill Coe, Director of Slavin Architects; Dr. Lara Mackintosh, University of Notre Dame and John Berger, Executive Officer at the Western Australian Alliance to End Homelessness judged the entries.

The winning teams were;
1st Winner:
Team 4: Alec James (UWA) and Nicholas Thuys (UWA)
2nd Winner:
Team 10: Julian Kissling (Curtin) and Barend Engelbrecht (Curtin)
3rd Winners:
Team 8: Huy Nguyen (UWA) and Eunki Kim (Curtin)
Team 9: Connor Simpson (UWA) and Justin Katsumata Yu (UWA)
Commendation:
Team 16: Nhat Quang Huynh (Curtin) and Kartika Kumalasari (Curtin)
Team 19: Quingyin Yang (UWA) and Sonita Hean (UWA)
